Emerging out of the swamps of Southern California, The Alligators were formed to celebrate the music of early Grateful Dead; “Pigpen era” Blues, R&B, and beyond! Now in their 9th year & hundreds of shows under their belt, with an average yearly touring schedule of about 25 shows per year, consisting of: multiple yearly Festivals, & headline shows, spanning 11 states. Simply put, The Alligators are here to shift every show into a full-throttle celebration, and Rock you!

The bands repertoire consists of high-octane, whiskey-soaked versions of the often-neglected early-years, Pigpen songs that are the bedrock foundation of the Grateful Dead. They don’t stop there, however, and one is never sure what may materialize in their improvisational barn-burning performances.

Fans and critics alike have raved on how they’ve mashed classic Grateful Dead catalogue songs, then navigate in and out of colossal improv jams, sometimes consisting of R&B Classics, Stadium Rock anthems – to incendiary Blues standards.
